Originally designed by Sori Yanagi in 1966, the "Y' Glass features a water droplet-like texture neatly arranged. The texture, size and thickness of the glass make it easy to hold, even for children.

Sori Yanagi is one of the most respected designers around the world, and his work continues to inspire designers around the world. He played an important role in the establishment and development of Japanese industrial design, demonstrating an amazing diversity with designs ranging from industrial products, furniture, tableware, kitchen utensils and other tools, to architecture and environmental structures.

Sori Yanagi’s cutlery and porcelain designs and Butterfly Stool are in the permanent collection of museums worldwide, including MoMA in New York and the Louvre in Paris.
